Spirit of the Hills Wildlife Sanctuary in Spearfish, South Dakota, is a home for over 320 animals of 40 different species including bears, African lions, tigers, dogs, cats, parrots, horses, and farm animals. Since it was established in 1999, the Sanctuary has grown to become one of the most diverse animal rescues in the nation.
