In 2009, the first Dakota Butcher store was founded in Clark, South Dakota. It was a family-owned business then, and remains one today! Dakota Butcher has grown to 5 locations, including Rapid City! Shop the freshest cuts of meat, handmade pizzas, salads, beef sticks and jerky, take-home meals, assorted sliced cheese's and deli meat's, grocery items, wine, beer, spirits & more! The Rapid City store has daily lunch specials from 11a-2p (see their facebook page). Their smoked ribs and chickens, including "burnt ends" (chuck roast chopped up and mixed with BBQ sauce and brown sugar) comes out around 4:30pm daily. You might want to call ahead to reserve yours for the day you want it cuz they go fast!! Dakota Butcher - Rapid City also offers catering!
