PRCA “Back When They Bucked” is back for its fifth consecutive year, May 25, 2025. We are looking forward to hosting this elite event again in the unique, rustic, old west setting of the Days of 76 Event Complex, Deadwood, SD,. The Western Legacy Foundation continues to strive to raise and donate funds back to the youth of western South Dakota. This better enables our fundraising efforts, as well as continues to grow community involvement in this event for many years to come. The full day of action on May 25th will kick off with the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) Ladies Breakaway event. You will witness some of the fastest roping you have ever seen. The ladies will be competing for a spot in the short round that will be held during the PRCA Xtreme Bronc Riding. The PRCA Xtreme Saddle Bronc Match will begin in the afternoon.
