Meet the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence and hear the story of how America was founded. John Trumbull's famous painting "Declaration of Independence" has adorned the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. since 1826 and a life-size statue display of the painting is the centerpiece of America's Founding Fathers Exhibit. You'll renew your patriotism, learn about history and be spellbound by the exhibit. A sound and light show with the statues follow a historical interpreter's introduction of the reasons behind the colonists' desire for independence. Linger as long as you like reading brief biographies of the signers and talk to our colonists. Don't forget to shoot an authentic Flintlock rifle while you are there!
